The Group extended its production expertise abroad in 1998 with the establishment of Rompak. Still the only yeast producer in Romania, Rompak runs sales operations in the domestic as well as the European market and continues to grow through investment.

Pakmaya Production in Europe

Rompak began operations in Paşcani, Romania in 1998, supplying products for Romania and Europe. In addition to baker’s yeast, Rompak produces dough developers, mixes and premixes for industrial bakeries and patisseries, and baking ingredients, creams and puddings for consumers. Rompak uses its R&D labs and application bakery to develop new products, and organizes seminars for professionals in Romania and other countries where it exports its products.
